Scope and Regulatory Compliance
Winadda Betting Rules govern all wagers placed on the Winadda platform. They apply to customers subject to applicable law where online gambling is legal and where the customer resides.
Eligibility and Account Restrictions
Participants must be at least 18 years old or the legal age in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher, and must reside in a territory where online wagering is permitted. Winadda may require identity and location verification prior to first wager or withdrawal.
Key Definitions
-
Official Start/Action: A wager becomes action once the event has reached the minimum play required by the sport's rules and is not subsequently voided by rule amendments.
-
No Action: A bet is No Action if the event is suspended, postponed beyond a single day, or the outcome is no longer determinative under the site rules; funds are returned.
-
Bad Line/Cheating: The operator reserves the right to cancel bets if a line is posted in error or if cheating or manipulation is detected.
-
Listed Pitchers/Action Markets: For baseball-related markets, bets may be conditioned on listed pitchers or on any pitcher as defined in the market type; see sport-specific sections for detail.
Official Event Status and Timing
The following timing rules govern when an event becomes official for wagering purposes. If an event does not reach the stated minimum, wagers may be voided as No Action or as otherwise stated below.
-
American Football (Pro/College): 55 minutes of play constitute official status for wagering, unless the governing rules specify otherwise.
-
Basketball (Professional): 43 minutes for pro competitions; 35 minutes for college competitions; all other leagues require at least the specified period for action unless otherwise noted.
-
Hockey: 55 minutes of play constitute official status; overtime or penalties may affect markets that specify overtime unless otherwise stated.
-
Soccer: Official status is achieved upon the completion of full time as defined by the governing competition; if a match is suspended and not completed on the same calendar day, bets on the outcome are void and refunded unless otherwise noted.
-
Tennis: Official results are those published by the governing bodies or official site; suspended or abandoned matches may result in No Action as per the site rules.
-
Baseball: A game becomes official after five completed innings, or after 4½ innings if the home team is winning; if the game is called or suspended, the final score is determined by the last completed inning unless the home team ties in a later portion of the frame.
Market Settlement and Sport-Specific Rules
Markets are settled in accordance with official results from the event, using the sources listed below or, where unavailable, the site’s own event data. Winadda reserves the right to use alternative authoritative sources in the absence of an official feed and to adjust settlements accordingly without prior notice.
-
Baseball: Markets include Money Line, Run Line, Totals. Run Line and Totals use a 20-cent pricing model; Bets on listed pitchers (LP) default to the listed pitchers; PT (Your Team's Pitcher) or TP (Opposing Pitcher) specify pitcher requirements. If a pitcher does not start, the wager may be declared No Action.
-
Run Lines and Totals: For action, the game must reach the required innings as specified above; if the game is suspended, wagering on Run Lines/Totals remains subject to the last complete inning result.
-
Overtime and Time-Based Markets: 2nd half, 2nd quarter, and other time-based markets include overtime unless stated otherwise.
In-Play and Live Betting Rules
In-play bets are accepted during live events with real-time updates. If an event is suspended for any reason and is not resumed within the sport’s typical window, affected bets may be treated as No Action. Wagers placed on markets that rely on continuous play will be void if the event is cancelled or abandoned.
No Action, Cancellations and Error Handling
Winadda reserves the right to cancel or adjust bets in cases of obvious error (bad line), cheating, or mispriced wagers. In events of incorrect matchups or data entry, wagers may be cancelled. If two outcomes can be deduced from the score, those wagers may be deemed No Action.
Disputes, Rulings and Governing Law
Winadda resolves wagering disputes through internal rulings. Where a sport has governing rules that differ from these terms, the governing rules prevail for the relevant market. Settlements are final after posting.
Data Sources and Resulting Data
Winadda uses official event results to settle wagers where available. If official feeds are temporarily unavailable, results may be based on the event's official site or the governing body's published data. In the absence of any official source, Winadda will determine settlements based on credible data after due review.
